A family-owned restaurant, Royal Garden instantly established a superior name for itself when it first opened the door in late 80’s. Present owner Simon Siu joined the restaurant in 1997 and he continues the rich Asian tradition begun 40+ years ago by his Chinese parents in Hong Kong. His wife Kim also devotes her time to help manage the business. Simon & Kim warmly invite you to dine at the Royal Garden and experience Chinese cuisine at its finest.
At Royal Garden, we specialize in authentic Chinese food. Try our Szechuan or Cantonese cuisine for a genuine taste of China, or order one of your favourite Chinese appetizers or dishes. Our menu also offers a wide selection to suit any appetite, including Pan-Asian, vegetarian, and tofu dishes as well as small selection English & European dishes.
The Royal Garden Restaurant at Berwick overlooks the Berwick Town Hall, where you can sit and peruse the menu whilst enjoying an aperitif, if you choose. Our menu offers the best oriental selection outside of China, incorporating Cantonese, Pekinese & Szechuan dishes.
We’re open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch from 12noon to 2pm and dinner from 5pm to 11:30pm, (open 7 days in July & August) and also Sunday 5pm to 11pm. so please come and experience our delicious Chinese cuisine for yourself!
The Royal Garden Chinese Restaurant was awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good) by Northumberland County Council on 12th March, 2014.
